Östermalms Dance Studio is a dance studio for all the age groups and levels. If you are interested to learn dancing from energetic and professional teachers in the heart of Stockholm, then you are on the right website. We offer Ballroom and latin courses, dance mix for kids, Zumba latin fitness, wedding dances and private lessons for any type dance you would like to learn.
Teachers

Per Almberg
Per Almberg is a Swedish professional ballroom and Latin dancer, dance teacher and judge. Together with his dance partner Emese Bengtsberg, he represents Sweden at the highest level in international professional ballroom and Latin competitions.
Per has achieved outstanding results throughout his competitive career, including being a multiple Swedish Amateur Latin Champion, current Swedish Professional Latin Champion with Emese, and quarter-finalist in the Professional European Championships. Through many years as an international competitor, Per has developed extensive knowledge of technique, performance, and the requirements of high-level competitive dance.
Per holds a degree in dance education and an international judging qualification, combining his experience as a professional dancer with a strong pedagogical foundation. He also holds a master's degree in Industrial management and Engineering, which contributes to his structured, analytical approach to coaching, problem solving and development of both dancers and the dance school.
As a coach, Per works with dancers of all levels – from beginners discovering ballroom and Latin dance for the first time to competitive couples striving for national and international success. His teaching combines technical precision, clear methodology and a deep understanding of how each dancer can develop.
Together with Emese, Per is the owner and head teacher of Östermalms Dansstudio, where their vision is to offer high-quality dance education built on professional experience, knowledge and passion for dance.

Svetlana Pajusova
Svetlana is a highly experienced ballroom and standard dance coach with more than 30 years of experience in ten-dance and competitive dance. She has a degree from the Pedagogical University of Ukraine in sports and ballroom dance choreography.
At Östermalms Dansstudio, Svetlana coaches our competitive dancers in ballroom dancing and supports both couples and solo dancers in developing their technique, musicality, performance and competition skills. She holds the highest judging category in both Ukraine and Sweden, which gives her extensive knowledge of competition standards and the qualities needed to succeed at the highest level.
Throughout her career, Svetlana has coached dancers who have achieved outstanding results, including finalists and winners of numerous international competitions. Her teaching combines deep technical knowledge, experience and a strong commitment to helping each dancer reach their full potential.
"I love working for results. I am passionate about dance and give my all to support development. My goal is to inspire dancers, build confidence and help create the next generation of champions."

Emese Bengtsberg
Emese Bengtsberg is a Hungarian-Swedish professional Latin American dancer, dance teacher and judge. Together with her dance partner Per Almberg, she represents Sweden in the highest level of international professional ballroom and Latin competitions.
Emese is a multiple Swedish amateur champion in Latin, current Swedish professional Latin champion and quarter-finalist in the professional European Championships. With many years of experience as both a competitor and coach, she combines high-quality competition knowledge with a strong passion for teaching and developing dancers.
Emese began dancing at the age of seven and has dedicated her life to dance and music. She has trained extensively in ballroom and Latin as well as ballet, jazz and modern dance. She holds degrees in music, dance pedagogy and communication and media, which combine artistic expression, technical knowledge and pedagogical experience.
As an international and national judge, professional competitor and teacher, Emese works with dancers at all levels – from beginners discovering the joy of dance to competitive dancers striving for personal development and international success.
Together with Per, she is the owner and head teacher of Östermalms Dansstudio, where they share their experience, knowledge and passion for dance with students of all ages and at all levels.
“Dance has always been my way of expressing myself. Music and movement can communicate emotions beyond words. I believe that everyone can dance – our role as teachers is to provide the right tools, guidance and inspiration to help each dancer grow and find their own expression.”

IULIANA DZHULAI
Iuliana Dzhulai is a professional ballerina, choreographer, ballet teacher and Ten Dance coach with an extensive background in classical dance and performance.
She graduated from the Cultural Institute, majoring in choreography and theatre direction, and also studied at the Department of Olympic Sports. Her education combines artistic expression, movement knowledge and sports-oriented training.
Iuliana has worked as a professional ballerina at the St. Petersburg Classical Ballet Theatre. In Ukraine, she founded the dance ensemble "Grand Pas", where she taught dancers of all ages – from young children to seniors – and developed their skills in dance, performance and stage expression.
At Östermalms Dansstudio, Iuliana teaches ballet and works with competitive dancers, helping them develop body control, posture, flexibility, musicality and artistic expression. Her unique combination of classical ballet expertise and competitive dance experience gives dancers valuable tools to improve both their technique and performance.

Brigi Nagy
Brigi comes from Hungary and dancing has been a part of her life since she was a child. She has competed in Ballroom- and Latin dancing both in national and international level. She has also danced Ballet, Boogie woogie, Lindy hop, Show dance and Salsa.
“I really like to create creative and different choreographies where I can make combinations that has not been seen before. I get Inspiration from all the different styles I have been training.”
When she is not dancing she is working with child phycology as a licensed child phycologist.
Brigi is holding child courses and is teaching wedding dance.
