Payment
Payment is made via the website (card) or via Swish/bankgiro. When you have registered via the website, you will automatically receive an acceptance notification, via email and we will confirm your registration in writing via email. You are not fully registered until the registration fee has been paid. Unpaid invoice/registration does not count as cancellation.
Prepaid private lessons/wedding lessons/gift cards and the like are only valid for 12 months from the date of payment. Unused lessons will be counted as used.
Right of withdrawal
According to the Act on Distance Learning and Contracts Outside Business Premises (2005:59), you have a full right of withdrawal for 14 days from the day you receive the acceptance letter for a teaching period/course.
When you have started the activity, this means that you waive your right of withdrawal.
In addition to what is discussed under the sections on Right of withdrawal, cancellation of the current period is not possible. Exceptions apply in the event of long-term illness or moving from a place, or other comparable reason that makes participation impossible and that you could not have foreseen. In these cases, we need to see a medical certificate or a notification of moving or similar that proves this in order for a refund of the fee to be made.
If you cancel your participation in a teaching period due to illness, injury, moving to another place or similar, you must notify us immediately. The medical certificate must be available to us within two weeks of you notifying us that you are canceling your participation. Refunds will be made for the remaining teaching sessions of the period from the date you have notified us.
Cancellation and Refund
When you cancel a course, your agreement with us and your participation in the current course cease to apply.
To avoid misunderstandings, please email your cancellation to info@ostermalmsdansstudio.com.
Unpaid invoices do not count as cancellation.
Enter your personal information and which course the cancellation applies to. If you are entitled to a refund, you must also notify the bank and bank account to which the refund should be made. We will refund the fee you are entitled to as soon as possible after we have received your bank details. However, no later than within 30 days of receiving your cancellation. If you have paid via the website and the cancellation occurs before the course/lesson has started, we may be able to refund the fee to the card you used.
We charge an administration fee of 150 SEK to make the refund.
Please note that bookings for private lessons/Wedding dance/workshops/camps are not covered by the Act on Distance Learning and Contracts Outside Business Premises (2005:59), as these are carried out on a specific day and for a limited period of time.
For private lessons/Wedding dance, you have the option to cancel these up to 24 hours before the lesson starts. Workshops/camps/Showers/Bachelorette parties must be cancelled at least 3 days (72 hours) before it starts.
Absence from dance course
Once a dance course has started, the booking applies to the current course and course period. In the event of absence, for example due to illness or other reason, the participant does not have the right to make up for or make up for the missed lesson at another course or on another course.
Missed lessons cannot therefore be moved, saved or replaced at a later time.
Cancelled lessons/ Replacement sessions/ Substitutes
If we are forced to cancel one or more course sessions, these will be moved to another time. The day and time of the replacement sessions will be notified to you as soon as possible. You are not entitled to compensation or refund for the postponed course sessions. In some cases, we reserve the right to offer a discount on future courses for the canceled session instead.
If we are unable to offer replacement sessions, for reasons beyond our control, such as but not limited to war, labor dispute, blockade, fire, environmental disaster, government decision or other circumstance, we reserve the right to replace the course sessions with digital material instead.
We reserve the right to change the advertised teacher at any time without prior notice. (This can, for example, but not exclusively, occur in the event of illness and when the time is too short to obtain information) A change of teacher does not grant the right to cancel in violation of the other cancellation conditions.
Force Majeure
Force majeure such as war, labor dispute, blockade, fire, environmental disaster, government decision or other circumstance beyond our control that prevents us from fulfilling our contractual obligations releases us from fulfilling these obligations. The customer must be notified as soon as possible if there are circumstances that may lead to the application of this provision.
Payment reminder
If payment is not made despite reminders, the matter will be handed over to debt collection. We reserve the right to charge a reminder fee of 60:- per reminder and to credit default interest according to law.
